Step 1) Buying AVAX

You will want to buy Avalanche (AVAX). This can be done on an exchange.

Purchase however much AVAX you desire, plus a little bit extra to pay for network fees, based on how much you are looking to invest.

The next step is to withdraw this purchased AVAX into a wallet such as Metamask.

IMPORTANT: It is vital you withdraw this AVAX via the AVAX C-Chain.

Step 2) Withdrawing AVAX

After you have set up a Metamask wallet, click withdraw on your exchange, select AVAX, paste your Metamask account address and select the network as the AVAX C-Chain.

After that is setup, click withdraw on your exchange, select AVAX, paste your Metamask account address and select the network as the AVAX C-Chain.

Then enter the amount you want to withdraw and then confirm the transaction.

Step 3) Swapping AVAX to USDC

Moving onto the penultimate step now, you have to convert your new bought AVAX into USDC.

USDC is a stablecoin, meaning that your value is safe and won't go anywhere.

NOTE: USDC is not the same as USDC.e. USDC is the native token, where as USDC.e is not official and bridged from Ethereum!

Once here you must select AVAX in the top field and then USDC (NOT USDC.e) in the bottom field.

When this is done, you will be able to confirm the transaction. You will get a pop up from Metamask which you also must confirm.

Finally, if you then click on 'ADD USDC TO WALLET' underneath the swap box, you will be able to see your tokens in your Metamask add-on

Step 4 ) Swapping USDC for $FILM

The final step requires you staying on TraderJoe - https://traderjoexyz.com/trade#/ - However this time you need to set USDC (NOT USDC.e) in the top field and then $FILM <ADDRESS> in the bottom field.

When this is done, you will be able to confirm the transaction. You will get a pop up from Metamask which you also must confirm.

Finally, if you then click on 'ADD $FILM TO WALLET' underneath the swap box, you will be able to see your tokens in your Metamask add-on
